COLORS OF AFRICA
Our new collection, COLORS OF AFRICA, draws its inspiration from Moroccan pop art, but also from a new wave of African photographers.
These emerging artists divert the cultural codes of their countries by proposing a new aesthetic.
This collection is a tribute to African cultures, their art and the beauty of their fabrics
We celebrate the colors of Africa with a positive and hopeful philosophy of life by mixing the continent’s cultural styles.
Our new accessories are created using old handmade fabrics, Haïk and cactus silk from the north of Morocco, Asilah and Kilim from the south of Morocco, Malian indigo, wax from Senegal... They are sourced with patience and dedication during our travels. They are then handmade by our craftsmen, Noureddine, Hassan and Rachid in their workshop in Marrakech.
Our jewelry is created in collaboration with Abdel, our artisan jeweler in Marrakech and then assembled in our workshop in Barcelona.
Our clothes are designed by Mariana, our local seamstress in Barcelona, by Rachida, our seamstress in Marrakech and, finally, by Pape, our seamstress in Dakar.
As for our palm baskets, brass mirrors, ceramics, soaps and other accessories, they are all made by artisans from Morocco or Senegal, with whom we have built up relationships during our stays in Morocco and with whom we are very happy to work in a sustainable way.
So here we go, we're taking you o
n a little trip to the African continent with this new colorful collection!
Hope you enjoy it!
