LALLA MELODA is an exclusive collection of Berber rugs, handwoven by women from rural communities in Morocco.
These unique pieces combine the traditional geometric patterns of Berber culture with a modern approach to interior design. Each rug is a one-of-a-kind creation, connecting the buyer to the story and cultural heritage of the artisans.

Every piece is entirely handmade using traditional techniques and local materials, such as natural sheep’s wool dyed with plant-based pigments.

The name LALLA MELODA, meaning MADAME MELON in the Amazigh language, honors the wisdom and strength of Berber women, whose ancestral weaving techniques are passed down from generation to generation.

Our Story

Since 2010, we have traveled the world to collaborate with artisan communities and create collections that tell their stories through each unique piece.
The launch of this exclusive collection of handwoven Berber rugs felt like a natural evolution for our brand.

This new line, fusing ancestral tradition with contemporary design, pays tribute to the communities of Berber craftswomen in Morocco and represents another step in our commitment to fair trade and sustainability.

Each of our rugs is a one-of-a-kind piece, woven by women from various Berber communities in Morocco, each telling its own story.
We carefully select them directly from our suppliers at the source.

The Art of Craftsmanship

From the soft Beni Ouarain to the vibrant Boucherouite, each model carries its own story, every thread represents a tradition, and every pattern holds deep significance for the women who weave it.

Each rug takes between 3 to 8 weeks to complete, during which the artisans pour their heart and generational knowledge into their work.
